The Google search results are getting more up to date. This is because of Google have just renew the base ranking algorithm on their search engine. Google also add new changes which affects about 35% of their Google search results. One of Google employee, Amit Singhal in his blog post said that this algorithm updates is done considering the importance of information updates today.

The algorithm has to able to detect if the search results are from last week’s post, while the information needed by the users are like information that happens on the TV right now. With this new algorithm, Google will prioritize the search results on the latest events that are happening. So when there is a soccer event, for example, Google will prioritize the latest news to be on top of their search results lists.
