At the end of this year, HTC releases their ultimate weapon in the smartphones realm. HTC XL is here with a wide-angle 8 MP camera and 4,7 inches super jumbo screen. Not long since the release of the duo HTC Rhyme and Explorer, the Taiwanese smartphone producer is now releasing their new product here.
If we look at the specifications, the HTC XL is above all HTC phones launched throughout 2011. 1,5 GHz processor, 768 MB RAM, and internal storage of 16 GB. 8 MP camera with 2.2 wide-angle lens and BSI sensor, also with dual LED flash to capture image in the darkness. In terms of sound quality, the phone is equipped with Audio Beats fron DR Dre. In the sales package, users will get a urBeats headsets. The cooperation with Beats Audio reinforces HTC commitment to bring the best experience in listening music, watching movies, or playing games.
Soon Google will release their own tablet. The Android-based tablet will be available six months from now. This plan from Google is to compete the popular tablet from Apple, iPad. The tablet haven’t got an official name yet, but it was touted as tablet Nexus.
In the next six months, Google is planning to market tablet with the best quality, to strengthen the increasingly fierced competition between Apple and Google Android. Google hasn’t elaborate further about their new plan, but its more likely that the internet giant will partner with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer). Google also said that they are developing voice recognition technology to be able to do tasks like Siri in iPhone 4s.
Dell seems no longer interested in selling netbook. This 10 inches class of laptops is being replaced by the Dell’s focus on super thin laptops that presents more real performance, one thing that according to Dell doesn’t owned by netbook. They use to sell Dell Mini, now they are focusing on providing a thin powerful gadgets that they believe will be successful, especially in the XPS line they have, their focus now is the area of thin laptops.
As known before, the netbook products began their debut in 2008. Interl as the chip market ruler said, in August 2010, about 70 million of their Atom processor is being shipped for the tiny laptops. And then Apple made a breakthrough with their iPad. Other computer producers are following Apple’s steps. Slowly, tablet PCs barge into computer market in the second half of 2010. Since then, many analysis reports claim the netbook fate began to change and marginalized. Beside tablets, today’s computer vendors is also competing in producing super thin laptops that called as Ultrabook. The appeal of this type of laptop is, beside of its thin and attractive design, they also promises a more resilient performance than netbooks. This can also be the consideration of Dell.
LG premium phone as a result of collaboration with Prada fashion brand is ready to launch in early 2012, as predicted earlier. Last weekend, LG has start to introduce LG Prada 3.0 to the public.
The entire body uses a classic black color that looks elegant. LG Prada 3.0 comes with Super AMOLED 4,3 inch screen that claimed to have the world’s highest brightness level. In Prada philosophy, the handset presents a full glossy touchscreen in front and the typical Prada Saffiano pattern on the back. Not only in the stylish outlook, LG Prada 3.0 is also trying to meet the performance quality. Equipped with dual-core 1.0 GHz processor and Dual-Channel architecture, the phone is claimed to be fast. There are also dual-band WiFi for high speed connectivity. LG Prada 3.0 also offer their users with unique icon user interface. Unfortunately, LG haven’t said anything about the price, but being a a premium phone, it is predicted that this Gingerbread Android-based phone is above the average of most smartphones.
